Open House Ad

A Realtor can conduct up to 186 unique sales and sales marketing items to market and sell your home yet, the homeseller sees less than 20 of those items. Realtors are paid a good dollar to handle the marketing of your home yet again, seem invisible to many home sellers. That is the main motivation for the type and length of open house I do. It is a service and I do it well.

Realtors have unique views on open houses. Many don't believe that open houses sell houses. Many others believe that open houses are a waste of their time professionally. My belief is that your home is a product and if you want to sell your product, you have to take it to market and display it for the mass market to see. MLS, advertising, websites and virtual tours are designed to intice you to see the property. Buyers want to see the actual home in person.

Open houses allow the public to view the home independent of an agent, free of unsolicited sales pitches and at an annoymous level where they can consider their personal options. Much like shopping for a new car on a Sunday, Buyers want the up-close experience without the hype or pressure. The open houses I do provide that venue.

I run open houses up to 14 hours over your first weekend your listed. I want the public, the neighbourhood (I even have a preferred preview time for neighbours I solicit with a mail drop prior to our first open house) to come out and see your house. There is no such thing as a nosy neighbour. Many have personal and professional contacts that bring you the right buyer. The best salesperson is someone who lives and works in the area. They make the sales presentation much more genuine.

Open houses make sales happen. Let me make your open house work for you!
